um everything gets old after a while, I haven't played eve in 3-4 years, after 4 years i was like FFFFFFF the great wild lands not even real nullsec.

But now I'm back to play again

give eve a rest playing the same game for 9 year, you'll go crazy

This tbh, this !

i would stop playing some random FPS from random editor only good to play at first hours after ptach, day after is more about 80% aimboters

I’m not sure if Dust suffers from aimboters or if Dust on PC will just increase the chances of them, but I look forward to My Eve character working with the player base in Dust, currently my character is stuck in 5vn-b7 stain region and I can wait to explore the rest of the Eve universe.

You think politics in EVE are bad. Just wait till Dust battles matter in Null sec. Then you'll miss pleasant EVE politics.

Wtf are you talking about?

This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

Well i guess we all should listen to you then? as your an expert, how oftern do you play Dust?, i was just saying to my glove puppet the other day, Eve goons would have a great prespetive on the new Dust Fps, so do you know what the Dust team are working on, because a bit of inside information could help me develop in the game Smile

Yes I do, no I won't, the DNA is still in effect.

Needless to say that eve is as harsh as you choose to make it. I can fit several dozen rifters, undock, get blown up, hop into another already fit rifter and repeat the cycle. The entire time I'm making enough ISK to refit another several dozen rifters.

I can also spent most of what I have fitting a T2 BC, undock, get blown up and not afford to fly anything but an ibis with civ fits.

Politics is what you make of it. If you choose to play in hi sec, not fighting over sov, or getting involved in the political landscape of eve then you don't have to. Dust will be no different.

Your assessment about dust was way off.

Not sure why you make such large assumptions, but if you can’t afford to live in null maybe you should be looking more closely at yourself rather than preaching dross to me, I played Eve just as hardcore as anyone else, why should you be an exception, your comments aren’t constructive and clearly you feel a superiority complex, just proving your negative attitude, but hey no hard feelings.

I just don't understand what motivates some people to post their thoughts. How many Earth-like planets do you think there are in the universe? Do you think that is the only rare, valuable resource in 'space' ?

Not that surprising that the Eve Ships aren't in Dust.

You do know that a Rifter is the size of a 747, don't you? Even Eve /Drones/ have a 5 meter wingspan.

I have know idea how many earth like planets there are, but with some imagination a universe could be boundless in variation, with alien resources, and new places to explore for all eternity, Eve has lost what they set out to accomplish in the beginning, just a thought.

Not sure about their down time only that it tells me its starts at 11 for 30 mins, maybe my WiFi on the Ps3 is rubbish, 747 rifter can't see that working at all.

You know what.... those big ships that come over the battle field, those are most likely a little bigger than a rifter. Not much though. But maybe in some rare curcum stances they could put frigates into the environment art? Like you fight in a hanger full of rifters and you can hide around them and shoot each other.

You are saying the game should be more about exploration than fighting over scare resources. That's fair enough, but I disagree.

hmmm....I actually like what your saying here and its something I've been thinking about as well.

Your saying what if dust had a free-roam planet exploration network sandbox where you could just hunt hostiles(wildlife, rouge drones) while finding minerals, artifacts or capturing abandoned mining depots or build different types of facilities for ISK, and what if there were opposing corp members in dust scouting on the same planet hunting you as well bringing tanks and equipment to the field. Heck, maybe even a support abaddon from above if you have friendlies awake in Eve.

Maybe dust players could receive notifications that their ground assets they captured or built was captured and if action wasn't taken, it could be destroyed or switched to the opposers.

This is starting to look like the expansions for dust can have endless possibilities Big smile. It actually could be interesting just as long as its not as boring as the PVE in Eve.

But there are other issues that go along with this such as how dust will transfer to PS4 in the future as well as more attention being taken away from Eve....again. Its going to take lots of time to implement so I think they should just stick to what they have for now at least. I'd rather see an Eve expansion of nullsec and more support ships (light carriers!! Twisted) than dust for now. Blink
