CQ: Own video files in another format e.g. avi-container; remote control for the TV; TV sound

Hello all,

I'm writing this the second time because something deleted my post before it has been sent^^.

I'd like to import my own videos into the CQs' TV not only in the bik format because it's a bit confusing to work with - expecially audio - and it takes much space: 700MB MPEG-4 Video -> 3300MB BINK Video.
Eve could use the user-installed codecs to show the video on the CQs' TV. And it would be nice to hear the audio trackk of the video.

Another suggestion:
A remote control for the TV to switch the content shown. You could change the video file which is shown and change the audio volume.

I wouldnt mind a similar built in tool like the music player has.
