Live feeds throughout eve

Would it be possible for Ccp to have constant live feeds in hub systems, popular transit routes, picturesque sites on a web page made up of a matrix of screens which can be selected to bring to forefront. A setup that will increase the experience of the game when you are not in a position to play I.e. at work.

Also am still waiting for regular video reports like the news style trailers Ccp have produced in past about events and market fluctuations.

During breaks of the alliance tournament stuff today they were broadcasting from various places like the lolamamake gate and even a 'thing' we were doing in Delve. Is pretty neat actually as they had sense enough to have it delayed and not show system details.

Not a good idea to show local on CFC ops either Lol

Live feeds for big battles yum yum, yes please. Oooh how about a remote probe you can cyno or send to locations that will beam back live video to a screen in game, a bit like the drones in the military now, skill books for range and length of video feed, and wicked for scouting.

I know it will never happen. Smile

I like the idea.

A few years ago I set myself (other character) up in a little frigate, set a route of about 1000 waypoints/nodes (alot atleast)... and set on the auto pilot.

It was a great screensaver while I was watching a movie. Only to realise much later how dangerous that actually was ... rofl ... But I was a fresh capsuleer back then and only flying my first ship, so not much possible risk at loosing it there.

I do not know if an out-of-game option would be doable for this idea. It may put heavy strain on the servers if people start to actively use it.

But atleast some fun option ingame could be created,... where when you are docked in a station and doing nothing (I do that all the time)... some "automated" virtual probe jumps from gate to gate, while not actually using them for others to see.

That would be a nice screensaver.

Live feeds are for people too lazy or afraid to go and see for themselves.
