This is my idea, don't know if this has ever been discussed. In the over view every Stargate be the color of the security system. So if it was high sec it would be green, low sec orange and null sec red, etc... Anyone else think of this?Shocked

Very good Idea.

Also, add the option to clear all overview list so to that you can import a fresh list instead of the current method of just adding to the current overviews

As to how do we get the DEVS to see this.

Hopefully they check the forums for these things as minor stuff like this will never make it via the CSM (Community Suckup Members)

Would be nice if they just added a comment say NOTED on threads. It doesn't mean they will make the change just that they are aware of it.

One thing to consider is that this information is already on the screen if you have a waypoint set, and the additional colors would make it harder to pick out the yellow one.

You are right, but it would be nice if your wandering or doing missions or whatever. I also think when exploring it will make remembering routes more memorable.

Looking at the common suggested Ideas I didn't see this in there. I think this change can be implemented because it doesn't really change game mechanics.

Actually it's a good idea, as for the yellow autopilot destination color, it's hard to see that anyway, CCP should change that to flashing white, that would allow the color coding of the gate icons to their specific system security levels. As for those that are color blind, could add a little letter to go with the icon color.

i think CCP Punkturis is in the UI team and has professed a love of colors, but iirc there were threats of only pink??

I honestly would not mind pink. Any color coordination on the overview is helpful. I mean they make WPS yellow, enemies red. So why not make the stargates on the over different colors too. or they could change the colors of the stargates in the actual game play screen.

I am surprised that no bittervet is crying about dumbing eve down, yet :) Sometimes it seems Eve should have UI of a DOS window and command line to fluff e-peen on those guyz.
