Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post but..

I have been away from eve for a while and as a result am no longer a corp member, this has left me stranded deep in 0.0 space with all my gear/ships etc. If I leave the station I am at I cannot re dock and I face a trip back to safe space that will take forever and probably result in me getting podded etc.

Is there any way I can return to normal space without this happening please.

Any advice is welcome.

Thx in advance.

Plain truth is that you're screwed.

If you have a clone in HS, why worry ?
If not, why worry anyway ? It's Eve. Death is inevitable.

i have been away for more than 6 months, after returning i found my active ship in highsec.

i flew back and got my stuff moved with a simple transport contract i advertised in local

i had to pay a few millions, but there are always people willing to do stuff like that.

IIRC, if you've been away for a certain period of time and return to a hostile station in the middle of nowhere, if you file a petition a GM *might* move you and your current ship to a safe (high-sec) system. The rest of your stuff you'll just have to sell/courier contract/reprocess.

For the stuff, you have various options:
- Apply for the corp that currently holds the station.
- Create a transport contract with sufficient collateral and reward to be picked up by locals. I did that recently. Had my stuff delivered within 12 hours. But I paid a very good reward (100m).
- Sell your stuff on the local market.
- You can also petition to have your stuff moved by a GM. Looks like the easiest way, but I prefer "keeping it real" aka doing it on your own via the in-game possibilities.

Regarding your character:
- Fly back in a covert ops or cloaked transport ship, if you want to get out manually. Once you manged to undock safely, it's not that hard. I also did that once after coming back from a break. (I seem to get stranded in 0.0 a lot.) I even asked someone in local to buy me the covert ops and fitting and made a delivery contract to my station.
- Jump clone into hi sec. Gives you the opportunity to JC back later and maybe sell more of your stuff.
- Clone jump by killing yourself, if you have nothing to lose.

Welcome back.

Petition. Ask nicely about the options you've got and if they can help you.

That's the only right thing to do.

(except, of course, undocking and dieing hilariously! :D)

This,

If the player's account has been inactive for 6 months or more and comes back to game in hostile station, can petition for 1 time move. Only the character and current active ship filled with as much 'loot' as it can hold will be moved.

Here is what I would do:

  1. Re-join your old corp.
  2. Stay a bit. Learn to fly a Jump Freighter meanwhile.
  3. After a while, steal all their stuff including a Jump Freighter.
  4. Jump that stuff into low sec.
  5. Profit.

Don't be scared, because being afk is not a crime.

If there is med bay at the station move your clone to high sec and pod yourself. Or jump out

You stayed away too long/not long enough. I think 6months is the magic number. After 6 months all your items get moved to high-sec.

If you can't get into the corp that owns the station, you could try paying them and get them to courier your **** out to high-sec. If they have a station I have to assume they have JFs going in and out. If you make the reward high enough, surely someone will grab it if they have an empty JF/Carrier going to highsec. Just don't forget to set collateral so they don't just gank your crap.

And thats how you get a carrier into highsec.

No one in nullsec will help you because of the very real possibility of buying your stuff at a deep discount.

No one in highsec knows what you're talking about.

Yep, next time go park in low sec before leaving EVE. But it's just a game, dude. Certainly you're no worse off than you were on day 1 of playing EVE.
