Multiple Instances of the same single installation

There used to be a way, pre 'Launcher' days, of using a single installation for two different accounts (using two different .bat files to open the same instance of the game) and maintain both settings seperately at the same time and have no problems of conflicting/overwriting settings because they were being saved somewhere completely different.

Is this still possible? I did some snooping around and cant seem to get a way for this to work using the old method.

if you mean settings such as display, then I'd have no idea.

if you mean gameplay settings per toon, they are already saved individually as to certain parts of the preferences and windows locations...etc. it should be in you respective %appdata% subfolder assuming you run windows.

Dang it. Im sure there was a way to make your eve use a different location for settings. Maybe im mistaken.

using /end /LUA:OFF to store graphics settings int he game folder

settings are already stored by account name (not char) by default.
