So how common is it to come back from a break and find you have 0 ISK?

This is probably what happened. A lot of my returning friends had the same problem but thankfully they had assets they could liquidate.

I am pretty sure Anders Breivik, the shooter in Norway, has internet access in his prison room/cell/whatever. However, I do not know if he can play EVE there.
