An issue with gate-cloak a.k.a. jump-cloak

So yesterday I lost an interceptor to a dictor-gatecamp in 0.0

Normally, if I don't spawn outside the bubble, I should just be able to mwd and crash the gate into safety, right?
Well, I never got the chance to do so since I lost my initial jump-cloak, which for all I know lasts about 60seconds, after a mere 10 seconds (estimated) or just enough time for me to check if I was inside the bubble and immediately yell "Oh my ****!"

Now, the whole story is that I actually came up with the not so brilliant idea to repeatedly crash the camped gate to see if I got lucky and spawn outside the bubble or just when it is down.

Entire progression of events:
1. Jump into camp
2. hold cloak for about 20-30sec
3. Crash gate and jump.
4. Immediately crash gate and jump back into camp.
5. Automatically decloak after about 10sec and die in a glorious ball of fre.

I recreated the situation in my home system and got the same result. If I immediately crashed a gate after jumping, I declaoked after approximately 10sec.

After a fruitless forum and google search I come here to humbly ask my final question:
To report or not to report?
Has it always been like this or might this be a bug?

Not had this myself, but have heard of it happening over the last week.

Had this for 2 month, only really happens in frigates due to the speed they can crash gates.

CCP doesent care, ive tried.

sounds like it hasn't re set the timer from your initial jump..

you wait up to 30 seconds... crash gate... jump back in... which could leave around 10 seconds left from your initial jump if that makes sense?

I second the bug issue. I've had this problem. To solve I wait longer than 30 seconds; plus I have other means to counter the de-cloak problem Cool

Nonetheless, I think it still is a bug.
