Probably the worst thing you can do from a customer service standpoint is over-promise and under-deliver. Oops

Unexpected issues happen, but to promise "Server is expected to be up by ..." and then repeatedly not deliver makes some of us wonder if you can ever follow thru on your promises...

Understanding python after so many people have played with it over the years is a job that pretty well nobody understands.....Honestly, go play with any database and see how long it takes you to set one up then add a few new features to it without breaking it, it's easier to break it and wait to see it fall apart than to micromanage it and see the flaws because they can be quite complex. No joke just open access(I say this because most people have that crap) and try to set up a basic invoice system it's nutty.

He's right, you know. And you're not.

And no. I have no desire to go out and smell the potatoes. What does that have to do with CCP's consistent failures to produce, anyway?

I'd rather they give me current and revised expectations when they feel they've changed.

You'd rather be told "Try back tomorrow."

I think more will agree with my approach than yours.

"Sorry dear players, but the server is ******. We will most likely never get it running ever again. Maybe you're lucky and this statement is overly exaggerated but don't count on it. Cuddles, your dev team."

When I am so much disappointed in a company, or in the service of a store or club, etc i fuckin stop going to it. So, stfu and leave like a grown up.

Paying a pety subscription does not entitle you to call anyone a "failure" - you do not own the company.

Now, everybody is a guru about everything and has an opinion about everything. Well, i don't see YOU working as a developer, you actually have no idea of how hard it is to maintain a software system. So, get back to your job (if you have one) and let the professional developers do their job.

Remember :: if you don't like it, just leave.

People like the OP are why companies like valvE and Blizzard don't give any info beyond "Soon."

Grow up, loser. Games are not important enough to raise your blood pressure over.
