Sorry but I'll have to disagree, I've seen them few times this last week and I'm still dumb as f*ck.

Thanks to modern technology, you can fix almost anything or any condition, but you still can't fix stupid. Stupid is forever.

Not a whole lot of fail going on lately. We need to spice it up a bit.

Then how about we reminisce about some older fails.

About 2 years ago my corp discovers a VERY juicy pos inside of a c3 wormhole with little defenses and very few people active inside. (A weeks worth of scouting revealed that only 4 people were inside the hole and active) We moved in and started to hit the pos. The guns were improperly set up and for the first hour, nothing was shooting us. So we decided to take a chance and just shoot the pos, ignore the defenses since it clearly wasnt firing at us.

While shooting the pos and setting up our bubbles, a pod warps intot he pos and quickly jumps into an orca. He starts gathering up everything into his orca and is about to warp out when our bubble came online and trapped him into the pos. It was at this point that the guy realized he derped his pos setup and reconfigured the guns to shoot us. We lost one raven before we were able to reform into a tight little RR BS ball. We then take out all of the guns and go back to the pos.

Fast forward a few days to when the pos is coming out of reinforce. During the reinforcement timer we had fought off a few fleets trying to take advantage of our "inactivity" and try and sneak in a fleet of their own. Except we never left the hole and just remained on batphone until the time came.

So the time was almost upon us. The c3 had a static HS, which we crit, then miraculously put 6 BCs through coming inside without it popping when the timer finally ran out. We finished off the tower and collected the goods, well most of the goods... some of the modules remained online even after the tower was destroyed. (logs show nothing)

Now before you all start jumping at me saying there wasnt any fail involved here, take a look at the screenshots I provided in the bottom of this post. These guys had THAT pos with no defenses inside a c3 with only 4 people who could possibly defend .

Having consulted with wide range of experts, there seems to be some disagreement about what, if anything, is noteworthy about this kill?

He's complaining the guy is mining Scordite (a very low ISK/hr highsec ore) and not, say, many of the plentyful ABC's you would find in the same anom.

If he's building in the WH and needs Trit/Pye then it actually makes sense over hauling it in, I guess v0v

Why you wouldn't just mine ABCs at 2x the ISK/hr and then sell, and buy the minerals needed? Because carebears don't understand opportunity cost and the minerals I mine are free, etc.

ed: I once saw the same thing, these guys were mining sodding OMBER in a newly spawned grav. Even I know this is the worst thing you can possibly mine.

In no particular order:

1. Some guy sat outside his pos in a HIC trying to catch our bombers, he brought out a harb with sebos and accidently targetted his own tower with hot weapons, he got lit up like a xmas tree. Then he decided it would be a good idea to put the harb pilot into a guardian and start repping mods, his agro timer was still on and got popped by his tower again. Then he rege-quit with his HIC bubble up and was stuck in it, indefinately giving himself agro until we killed him.

I was reminded recently by one of my members, of when we had a C4 black hole with C2 static, in which we had built a Niddhogur and a Thanny. As an aside here, we sold it including the PI and caps, to some guys via Taggart. Brokerage went through flawlessly, then a month later someone else is hocking it again including the two caps, because he's found the POSs without fuel and stolen them. That by itself was lulsy, but what happened bedore this is much more hilarious.

One night, our guy is triple-boxing the Niddy and two domis, with the C2 static critted to hell and back and a covops scout cloaked off it, listening for activations. They've just done, lets say, 8 to 10 sites.

He hears a wormhole activation. Not too worried. In comes a shuttle. Then another, and another.

The shuttles warp in to the sites he's done, and start lifting the blue loot. He warps in the domis. But they can't lock the shuttles in time before they've cleaned out the wrecks and warped off.

He tries reshipping to faster stuff, like a arty cane. No dice; they just warp in on a BM, loot the wreck and skedaddle.

All up, the guys in the shuttles lifted about 80M of blue poo in under 40 minutes. Good game.

Five destroyers attacked a Hyperion in a C3, the Hyperion sort of just sat there in WTF mode.

Then killed all five of the destroyers in very quick order. Lol

About a month ago, I was dual boxing a C4 with a pair of RR tengus. I came to one of my radar sites which I thought was the "trinary". Needless to say it was the digital nexus type. I was pounding away not only at the rats but also at some very delicious Liengugels Summer Shandy (If that is how you spell it). Anyways, on the second wave up pops a Sleepless Safeguard. I think to myself no problem since I am invincible! Summer Shandy will do that to. He come screaming at me all the while I am firing at him. He then comes into warp scram range and locks one of my tengus down. I am losing shields pretty quickly and thought that I should warp one tengu out and let the other die. That would have been the sensible thing. I thought to myself that I can still take him down........One tengu goes down, then the other. That was a bad night and an aweful next morning.

In the name of the unknown, the cosmic anomaly and the K162. My last confession was... I've never actually confessed.

May my fellow wormholers forgive my sins(but I know you'll only exploit them and that is the only way I will learn my lesson).

I have committed the two most dire sins of w-space. I didn't post a watch on the wormhole and I didn't keep my eyes on dscan and... and then... I ran my sites.

We lost a Dominix, Nighthawk, two Noctis (nocti?), a Helios and a Chimera to a gang of Prots and some lesser w-space ships.

Congratulations on your fat loot, gentlemen. Thankyou for the lesson and I will be seeing each of you sooner or later.

This was almost two years ago, but imo still worth showing.

We attacked the Chained Reactions WH, caged their POSes had a few engagements - all nothing special, but still fun.
During the nightshift, an orca pilot decided he wanted to grab a few things out of the corp hangar and slowboat out of the bubbles. Granted, the apoc was too far away to get a scram on him, but when he saw the loki uncloak, he turned around in an attempt to reach the shields again. We managed to pop the orca right on the pos shields. 1 second later, he would have been inside.

After he died, he petitioned CCP that he supposedly drifted outside of the POS shields after login, without wanting to move the ship at all. Roll

Talk about stupidity… We were on a WH roam and came across this corp in a C1. We kept pushing his rook out the HS hole so the guy had a bright idea to bring his Nag to the HS hole with a fail fit.
http://eve.battleclinic.com/killboard/combat_record.php?type=player&name=Get+Riehl
He figured that if he used the ecm he had fitted on his Nag he could not only get his rook in the hole but also get away. So when he warped to the HS at 30k we locked him up and started shooting him. He brought his rook in and warped off. By this time we had the Nag lock webbed and pointed by many ships. He came back in his rook hoping to free his Nag but ended up losing his rook as well.

But wait the story gets even better! Within 40 minutes we got a alt accepted to his corp. Within 10 minutes of accepting the alt we had full access to everything. He logged off and we proceeded to take all the ship and pull down both towers they had in the WH. Unfortunately we had to self-destruct the orca and several battleships for the insurance money since it was only a C1. When they logged on the next day the WH was completely empty. They put up another tower and we proceeded to shoot it down. They were just too much fun!
