Hello all :)

I just resubscribed but EVE seems to run at lower fps rate specially at Captain's Quarters so... needing card update Roll

As far as I know nvidia cards work better on this game, and since I don't play other games I will pick one from this brand. Will a 560 do the job? I normally play 2 clients at 1920x1200 resolution and max details.

My rig is like this:

- i5 2400 cpu
- 8GB ram @ 1600mhz
- ATI HD3850 (to be replaced)
- SSD Corsair m4 128GB
- 500W psu OCZ Modxstream

If GTX570 is needed then I will get one, just Im not sure if my psu is enough, and I would like not to waste so much money currently lol.

Yeah a 560 will work just fine. Might actually wanna check ebay see if you can pick 1-2 of em up for a little cheaper. Usually sold by tech warriors that upgrade every other month to get the latest and greatest so quality isnt quite an issue.

But if money is not a factor pick one up new. And 500w should work fine with that setup

6770 (or 5770, same core, only 3D BD support added) works well with Incarna.

and it's dirt cheap.

and you would even have a cooler, much more energy-sparing card than the 560, afaik.

even a geforce 440 would run 2 eve clients with some stuff turned down. Now what is a good deal right now are 560's and 560 ti's. They can run 2 incarnas in parallel. If you just want a middle card that can do a lot look for a GTX 460 1gb. They should be around 140$ on newegg and 100$ on ebay.

As an aside, Nvidia cards are cheap on ebay right now because of bitcoiners snatching up ATI cards. The gtx 570 goes for like $250 on ebay and almost 70$ cheaper than newegg.
