If you watch the old Alien movies you do see the Weyland logo from time to time, I was watching the third one the other night and it appeared in that for a few moments. It is quite similar, especially in that shot.

The dude made an honest mistake, cut him some slack. Why resort to nasties and name calling? They do look pretty similar.
