First off , no you can't have my stuff. This is temporary untill I get a better PC

Iv just un subbed for the first time after 3.5 years of playing. Why because my PC is not up to spec to run eve, it's fine to silo on but in a fleet fight it lags so much it goes into a coma.

The reason I'm posting is my utter amazement at how easy it is to leave eve with absolutely no follow up from ccp. You dont even get an email asking for the reasons for leaving. You just click on two drop down boxes and hit continue and that's it.

Ccp you may as well have a picture of all the devs giving the middle finger while holding up a sign saying " cheers for the cash ,noob."

I actually like how easy it is to unsub. the many times I have(and come back of course). I like the no BS when canceling, I hate when companies throw me through loops to cancel a service. CCP and amazingly Blizzard let you do it in just a few clicks rather than making you play twenty questions.

Trust me if you have ever tried to cancel a cell phone you would know what horrible experience is when it comes to the other end of canceling a service.

EVE is like swimming on a beach in shark infested waters,  There is however a catch...  The EVE Beach you also have to wonder which fellow swimmer will try and eat you before the sharks.

You're complaining about a company making it easy for you to unsubscribe instead of the usual butt penetration you get while trying to quit something? Why would you want a company to ask a billion questions of you before quitting? It's annoying.

You're upset because you think that they should be so concerned with the fact that you are quitting that they should make multiple annoying attempts to ask you why or persuade you to stay???

Sure they might want to know why you quit ect, but making a forum post about something that is really a good thing, meh.

Besides, you'll be back soon enough.

I can understand your dissapointment.
Your loyalty was unquestioning and you feel betrayed that in their quest for the irrelevant, your legitimate concerns have been ignored.
CCP is a business, and in businesses such as these people have to justfy their jobs. They will continually tinker and tamper with things that are not broke just so that they are not seen as doing nothing.
Only the players know that EvE is not a game heavily dependent on graphics. It is a game where information is everything and graphics are there for times of boredom or innactivity, such as ship spinning.
The developers don't realise this so they will keep chasing carbon and graphite, leaving our computers behind untill they have designed the ultimate 3D experience that no one can run.

I unsub after every pay cycle, because I don't have regular income. I'm very glad CCP doesn't send me an email every single time.

I'm fare from upset, just stumped that they do not send a follow up mail. I agree it good that you dont have to jump through hoops, but I do thinks they have made it to easy in its current format. Two drop downs are not going to inform them of much
