okay, so i've been running level 3 missions, with my drake, that currently look like this.

High
7xHeavy Missle Launcher II

Mid
2x Adaptive Invulnerability Field II
2xLarge Shield Extender II
1xTermic Dissipation Amplifier II
1xEM Ward Ampilfier II

Low
1xBallistic Control System II
2xShield Power Relay I
1xslot fee

Rigs
3xMedium Core Defense Field Purger I

Now this have been a very nice Passive Tank ship, doing some good damage.. the Prices for T2 Ammo dosn't seem to be worth it, as i would increase my expense on ammo alot.

my drone skills are very low, so i don't really use them at all

Now i am starting to see alot of Level 4 missions poping up across the map that i've been tempted to try out, however i am a little insecure if i am good enough for them, or i will loose my drake at first try?

i got about 8.6m skillpoints
3 mio in spaceship command
2.1 mio in Missles
880k in gunnery
700k in Engineering
53k in Drones

the rest is to widely spred out, as i kinda started as a miner as my last corp just wanted to inslave me as another person to milk dry. never got to see any isk from the 100+ hours of mining ops we did.

You can do LVL IV missions in your Drake, but, them will be slow to end AND some are to hard to do in a single Drake.
Best you can do is train for Tengu and those missions are going to be fun...............

Get your drone skills where you have at least 5 light drones with Drone Interfacing 4. This will allow you to kill any frigates warp scrambling you before your ship goes pop.

Your fit looks good but why do you have a low slot free?

Look up your missions on Eve Survival so you know the triggers and what to expect.

I would go in a fleet your first few missions just so you get the hang of it. If you mission in Caldari space near Motsu feel free to send me an Eve mail.

Thanks.. however i have never done missions in a group before.. i am curently dualboxing with a Salvage ship staying behind to salvage, while i continue missioning :)

as for the empty slot, its becasue i used to for a damage control mod, but as i never whent below 90% shield, i thord it was a waste of use, and i am planning to add another Ballistic Control system instead

You will go below 90 percent in a level 4. I suggest another shield power relay. T2 if you can. If you find you have more than enough shield change it for a BCS. Also do you have Battlecruisers to 4? The shield resistance bonus is nice for missions.

Missions in a group can be fun but some in Eve prefer to work solo.

Good advice, but don't go for T2 SPRs. Meta 4 (Beta Reactor Control: Shield Power Relay) has the same benefits as a T2 with lower fitting requirements -- which can make a big difference fitting a Drake without maxed fitting skills.

Oh, and definitely, definitely get your drone skills up. It's not as big a deal in a Drake, but most L4 ships rely on them heavily for removing tackle frigates (the exception here being the Tengu).

As for your fit: I wouldn't fly a Drake without a prop mod. Partially this is because travel time seriously cuts in to mission completion times, but also partially because you'll take less damage while moving faster. I'd aim for something like this:

[Drake, realistic L4]
Ballistic Control System II
Power Diagnostic System II
Beta Reactor Control: Shield Power Relay I
Beta Reactor Control: Shield Power Relay I

10MN Afterburner II
Large Shield Extender II
Large Shield Extender II
Shield Recharger II
Thermic Dissipation Field II
Kinetic Deflection Field II

Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile
Heavy Missile Launcher II, Scourge Fury Heavy Missile

In some missions they can be that far away but the furthest I can remember any maintaining range is about 50 km.

I don't use an AB because I prefer another hardener. This is just my personal choice and many do fit an AB to the Drake.

Just be careful with those warp scrambling frigates. That's pretty much the only way you'll lose your ship because your shields will go down slowly.

Align to a station when your shields fall below your comfort level. Once you're aligned you will insta-warp when you click the warp to button. This of course is if you're not being warp scrambled.
