[WTB] 2003 Birthdate, little or no skills

Nerpimus ~ My husband has a better explanation other than simply "intrinsic".

Anyone can start a new toon right now June 27th, 2012. That will always remain his or
her birthdate. Regardless of how talented the trainer is, as perhaps to be going to such
trouble by going so far as to purchase and use a Cerebral Accelerator to get up to L4 implants
with Science and Cybernetics, then use a free corp like Estel Arador to make some jump clones,
and then get L5 implants and then focus on something like a Hulk, Charon, etc. is easy.

Toons like that are sold here every day. Been watching this market for 3 years today! Yah!
(I keep notes)

The very one thing that the modern trainer of an alt can not ever control is the birthdate of the
character, such a very strong influence on it's social status. Thus requiring more research,
interaction and initial financial start up, beyond the scope of New Eden alone, to find, acquire and
to train an old one. And then in a proper manner respectful of it's age and lack of poor decisions.

I've never seen a single toon sold here that was just an older one, until this last week or so.
They always have like 100 mil SP if that low. An old one with a single purpose is never seen.
I guess that's why I posted to buy one.

So, to properly answer your question as to the true value in ISK. This toon born in 2003
was determined to be worth 3 Billion ISK with only 1 million SP;

Not exactly certain how one could possibly think or not even notice that a toon with an
earlier birthdate is indeed far more rare than something just created recently.

Involving those variables of course it makes them way more rare and valuable.

Then comes into play, good or not so good names....... :)

On that score i have a 2003 toon, 8th september 2003, no kills no losses, completely clean, called Smegger, no surname. 2 bonus remaps.

What would this be worth ?

1.2 million SP, currently training mechanics 5

I might be willing to sell for the right price

I suppose the value is in the eye of the beholder. Does he look good? Have a good name? Clean employment history? (I see he is recently employed by a player corp).

I'd give you a billion ISK for him. But to be in the rules you would have to post as him as a private sale after leaving the current corp as to be in an NPC.

Zerker ~ Quite interesting and thanks for sharing. It does appear as if a precedence has been established that 2003 toons are worth from 1-2 Billion ISK at a minimum, other factors come into play like name, appearance, remaps, and employment history.

This is not mine either but noticed this today. Appears as if one of the oldest toons ever seen with an August 2003 DOB and very low skills went for I am assuming the 5 Billion Buyout and is now training very fast;

I've watched others whom were sceptical of the Fan Site valuations and applications. It would now seem obvious that they are defunct until someone works in a date of birth into the valuation.

The next person that asks me "Is EVE open ended?" Answer, yes.

I will never buy to train, (nor create a new toon again) unless it's a 2003
or something extremely special. Just the way cars (ships) become vintage, so do
EVE accounts. This will become extremely obvious on this market when EVE turns 10.
