Power of 2 and its returnings

Hi, i was wondering if there is a regularity to when this power of 2 thing comes along, i missed it last it was up, and would love to get a power of 2 account since its a very generous offer from CCP. However i've been trying to figure out when the next might show up, but havnt been able to find any kind of evidence as to the regularity of these events..

Anyone out there know anything about this ?

As I'm a Power of 2 child, I thought it's appropriate to answer- it wouldn't make any marketing sense to schedule this kind of campaign, people would just wait for the offer instead of making new accounts right away, and CCP would lose money.

I do think that it's lucrative enough for CCP to redo it periodically.

I would just wait for some time. The power of 2 promotion returns every couple of months.

As an option you could consider making buddy invite to yourself. If you can buy PLEX with ISK and then upgrade new account with that, you then get PLEX back as buddy invite reward and effectively get 21+30 = 51 days free time for new account.

That is nowhere near 180 days for 3 PLEX offer, but better than nothing.

True, it wouldnt be, but at least its 111 days compared to the price.. of course its a few months short..

Guess the other argument could be to simply let my account expire when there are no more gametime, and then simply wait for power of 2..

You need active account to use power of two, so you would then need to first activate your account before taking that offer.

That would still be fine :) no big deal on that, its just at least i would have 2 chars that would be somwhat along the same path :P

At least thats my way of thinking.
