Ability to look outside when in stations

Please give players the ability to look outside when sitting in a station.

We can already look at our planet infrastructure.

Alternatively, to save bandwidth i guess, a very limited ship scanner interface available in the station. 100km would be enough.

Is there some balancing this would wreck ? I can't think of any, but then I don't play the docking games for the ultra skilled.

Already bought up to ccp's attention and its possibly on thier table provided that players had the ability to prevent targets from docking.

Sure you may peek outside.... long as I can shoot you in the face through the porthole.
I thought it was simple..undock don't agress and redock. Insta-warp?
Sorry but it just feels like you're fishing for an easy button.

If Goons were around when God said, "Let there be light" they'd have called the light gay, and plunged the universe back into darkness by squatting their nutsacks over it.

i think as space is limited in rl, that you ought to have to pay more to have better quarters or corp / alliance chill out space,

Its the perfect isk sink, You have a basic corp office,

a room, a shonky flicking cfl tube light, a table a chair,

You pay more and stuff looks more awesome, you get more space,

You pay **** tonn more, you get a big ole window to look out from and your on the prestige level, and take a lift. away from the other riff Raff.

the public area, gets its own window.

I dont know if you should be able to walk into some one else hq.

If you have an office in the station.

from your corps office there should be a corridor to your members quarters, and this should dynamically add more doors as needed. pay more tax. you dont have to walk as far.

or you pay more, you get to pick where in station you want to be.

Hopefully billions more isk's disappear from the system in shiny station offices & captains quarters.

Your thinking is too confined. Why make isk sink, when you can have aur sink? Windows are now brought by aur.Cool

Because AUR is made of fail.

I am the One who exists in Shadow. I am the Devil your parents warned you about.

Cannot be done at all due to how the server works. Space and station environments will not be on the same node [whatever it is]

All that means is session change every time you enter camera mode.

Not necessarily. It could be set up as a window if CCP tried, but I think that it is pretty obvious when someone wants to kill you when you undock. They are from Endless Frontiers.
Just kidding.
But really, it is an advantage that would have to work both ways, such as they were allowed to look at a currently docked roster.

IMO this would break immersion, maybe not for the normal person but,
really, you can't see in sapce, since the amunt of light that would get past lets say, the halfway point between Earth and MArs, is so little that unless your between your target and the sun, youd still only abrely eb able to see his ship visually, and thats taking intop account his ship is VERY shiny and reflecting all possible light back in your direction.
as for looking out of the station, realistically you would only have about a 30 degrees viewing range around your window, and would be very hard for you to see any ships, which is why in EVERY scifi show there is (except star wars, but as we all know, the science in that is lolsy at best) they always scan the system for any other ships and ALWAYS use computers for guidance and to assist with maneuvierng, because youCANT see where your enemy is.

like is aid though, this would only break immersion for people who know better.
