That's currently the leading contender for my next comp. I'm not the most computer savvy player so I could really use some input.

first of all, is this a good buy
Second, can it run 2-3 eve clients on poor, medium, or high quality settings.
third, would it effect game play if i were to buy this and buy another ram card to get it to its full 8 gigs of ram.

Thanks for your input, i will post a few more queries later on tonight.

Yes, I complain about things I don't like.

Dude... *THIS* is the proper way to run 3 eve clients:

Triple Monitor EVE setup
Not mine but my setup is almost the same.

Processor is almost certainly a sandybridge i5-2430M (dual core), decent, should be sufficient for your needs, but not extremely impressive.
HDD is adequate.
Monitor resolution not quite fullHD, but sufficient for EVE.
Video card (560M) is nice - for a laptop, that is, it's still only about half as fast as a desktop 460.
6GB of RAM is kind of "meh", you're probably going to need to take 2GB out and add a different 4GB chip in. At least RAM is cheap.
Should be ok to triple-client on medium settings or even medium-high at decent FPS, except if you find yourself in a large fleet fight (in which case even a single client will struggle, but that would probably happened with a faster quad-core desktop with a much faster video card anyway).

Price for all of that... hmm... 800$ would be nice and fair, but it costs over 1k.
I got something extremely similar (8GB of RAM, larger HDD, but weaker video card) for my wife at the equivalent of under 650$ before taxes a few good months ago.

P.S. This one

...on the exact same site has better stats all around.
Most likely ivy bridge i7-3610QM quad-core CPU, video card 650M is actually a bit faster too and has more dedicated RAM, starts with 8GB of RAM, larger HDD but slower speed, same max resolution.
And it's also slightly cheaper (1050$ instead of 1070$).

How do you go about setting up three monitors, A Y-split parallel cable? Cause i really want a setup just like that.
