Display Driver stops working

I updated EVE to 1.1 and now can't even open the game client without my display driver getting an error.

After i start the client, the screen will go black and an error will say Display driver has stop working and has recovered and it will continually loop after i have started the client. Once it starts the loop i have to reset my computer. My display driver is already the latest revision and I've tried reinstalling EVE and still get the same error.

All my other games are working fine. Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Skyrim etc.. are all working normally.

Anyone else getting the same issue?

I have been experiencing the same issue since I applied the patch yesterday. My toon is now in space which causes me to immediately enter an endless cycle of display driver crashes when I try to log in. Interestingly, I had no problems until I undocked (I sit in hanger mode, not the captain's quarters).

I have tried several solutions to no avail:
- Using the Launcher repair tool
- Updating to the latest drivers for my video card
- Re-downloading the EVE Online client

I have no problems with any other programs (Deus Ex: HR, Serious Sam 3, Final Fantasy XIV).

System:
Windows 7 (64-bit)
8 GB Ram
Radeon HD 5760
