COSMOS ... DEAD ENDS

with the current COSMOS system you can only complete any given agents mission chain once.
if you let one of these missions expire the you are DEAD ENDED (unable to complete the agents mission chain)

i would propose that it is high time that CCP changed this to allow COSMOS mission failure and instead of being locked out
you take a corporate standings hit from the agent and mission is re offered after X amount of time.

what are peoples opinions on the current COSMOS PVE content. and what would you like to see changed/implemented?

I'd like more COSMOS style missions even if they aren't ones for faction gains. Epic arcs were a nice step forward there but we need moar! D:

I'd say maybe just file a petition or something regarding the failed mission. I'm not particularly for or against the idea of the timer running out not screwing you. Perhaps make them all infinite timers like epic arcs?

Maybe all storylines should be infinite timers?

Good luck with getting CCP to look at COSMOS again P

If you let an offer expire you can try to petition to get it reset for that agent.

Good idea. Since these missions are set up to only be completed once in the life of the character, I see no problem with that proposal.

When the 'Agents Made Easy' expansion was implemented, it affected all agents. After a while, CCP decided players were getting access to Cosmos Agents way too easy and reverted their standing requirements back to original. Also CCP decided to change a few of the agents standing requirement. Somehow in the process of doing that, some of the Agents became bugged.

Before all this happened, you could decline the very first mission offer from each Cosmos Agent and go back later when you wanted to complete it. Now according to CCP, declining their initial mission offer is the same as letting a mission offer expire or failing a mission.

CCP definitely needs to make the mission offer available again at a later date if it hasn't been completed. Declining an offer, letting an offer expire or even failing the mission should not remove access to these agents. Only the successful completion of the mission should do that.

This. I'm afraid Cosmos will be "as is" and has been for years. There are only a very few items worth the trouble overall, although I used to make good isk selling mission items to newbs but overall it's all pretty much dead end. Sad

i did petition for a mission reset. but current GM policy regarding COSMOS missions is to not rest or revert objective status of agent missions
