With cloaked ships you are not only hidden from local but also from sight. So what are your favourite CovOps, Recon or T3 for some solo fun in wormholes?

Any cloaky t3 in a hole is fun, but I've become rather fond of cloaky proteus in holes for sheer tankability. Mean little buggers.

Not like you'll see it in local anyways.

Probe in a covops, fight in a non cloaky T3.

I'm roaming w-space with a pair of stealth bombers ... wee little guys. Occasionally I swap in a recon, but keep coming back to the bombers.

I'm a PvP-noob so the wallet doesn't hurt too much when I messup or bite off more than I can chew.

So far it's been heaps off fun, but sometimes requiring a lot of patience, and I've managed a few little kills.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Cloaky Proteus with a cloaky neut/scanning Legion for support.

Also, Pilgrims are fun.

I used to use a cloaky tengu until I met with a 13 ship hole camp that I couldn't escape. I now stick to my nemesis unless I need to scout quickly and then I use the helios.

It is common knowledge that actually using the bomb launcher isn't the best way to PVP with a stealth bomber, still I get the biggest thrill in taking out salvagers and PI haulers right out from under their escorts with bombs. If done properly it works and is very amusing.

I don't know about 'common' but agree with the sentiment. My bombers, now, do not carry bomb launchers. I guess that makes them torpedo boats rather than bombers.

Agree also that killing a noctis right under the eyes of his escort ships is a whole lot of cheeky fun.

Cloaky Prot is awesome. 1170m/sec, 45k point, 550dps, 140k ehp AND cloaky? What's not to like Smile

It can decloak & point a Tengu farming a C3 site, and buffer tank a whole fresh Sleeper wave at the same time.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

If I put in the time to get space rich (fairweather gamer at best) then I'd probably roll cloaky Legion. But, as I am not space rich and am also a Nancy who loves tiny boats, I prefer a covops (bombers and probers) any day of the week. I can't remember the last time I intentionally logged out in a boat that wasn't my older-than-dirt Helios.

Nothing was more fun than seeing a gassing Myrm outside his pos shield. I guess he logged in and went afk, forgetting to enter his pw. We got a few bombers together and got into position. Boom went the Myrm and the pod.

B-bombed

Fairly certain he woke up in high sec, not knowing wtf happened.

Moral of the story is, bombs do have uses anywhere you can use them. However, it's very situational and usually more helping to fit a probe launcher instead.

No trolling please

People always seem to want to narrow everything down to the best ship, in truth depends on the roll so here is my list.

Fast scanning scouting - Anathema
Pointing caps in combat sites - Prote

I know allot of people disagree and i get stick from my own corp mates about it as well but I'm still a fan of the Covert Scanning Legion. I just like the options it gives me for targets of opportunity, if I'm scouting a pos and i see a hauler shoot of towards a custom's office i can usually kill even if its stabbed as it can't tank. The one huge negative, if you get scouted jumping into a hole and they camp you your chances of braking through a WH camp is slim.

But I'm surprised no ones mentioned Falcons yet, always nice to have them hiding out of site to tip the balance.

I am a big fan of the Nemesis and I also often fly in a Pilgrim.

Pilgrim is really awesome on paper but it is so slow and clumsy that I have gotten frustrated with it often enough to start preferring the bomber.
