Paying 10 cents to charity per "Like".

I'm kinda late to the new forum game and I am desperately behind in likes.

To remedy this I will donate 10 cents per like to Child's Play or the Red Cross, forum consensus picks. Limit $150 USD.

Lets see how this goes. Event ends in 24 hours or when this gets moved/locked.

This is shameful...

So you will give only if you receive? - e.g. you are asking people to give you likes using (and I mean using) the idea of charity (which is giving WITHOUT receiving)...

How about this - you simply accept that you have less likes (like that means anything - I guess shallow ego) and you simply donate that fund w/o any receiving (or receipt) and prove that you are a charitable person - which would be the moral and ethical thing to do... or you can engage in selfish self promotion using charties to evoke response from people...

Sigh... people seem to have truly lost the sense of what is good and right in the world...

I'm not saying I'm a good person for doing this. I'm doing this because I have cash to burn, a low like count, and I would like to highlight how trivial the "Like" system is.
