So--regional average for items...while they can obviously be modified by the market savvy as our Goons have recently shown us, there is no reason why tech II and tech III ships shouldn't have a better insurance coverage. No?

Perhaps I'm off my rocker here, but there must be a way to incorporate a better calculation for insuring ships besides the basest of mineral values, at least in the case of tech higher ships.

P.S. I suck at ENGRISH!

One has nothing to do with the other (any more).

The reason why T2 and T3 has low insurance coverage is because they want it to cost you a pretty penny when you lose your ship. It's the price you pay for flying the more advanced stuff, and provides a reason not to fly them at every opportunity.

Besides, we know what happens when you have estimated price based on things that can be manipulated.

Like tech, eh? And when it gets nerfed, we'll be insurance frauding T2 ships for a LONG time if you did this.

t2 and t3 ships are supposed to have bad/non-existent insurance payouts. Working as intended.

because the concept of insurance in an age of constant space battle is stupid
