Was there a time when interceptors were not T2 ships. I seem to remember(my main)a time when he was attacked in his Dominix by 4 interceptors, at least they were very fast ships. But his wasp I drones killed 2 of them- a few weeks later the wasps were nerfed, and no longer had the speed to get the interceptors. This was either in 2005- or 2006, when he was in Spector ops. Any info on this subject would be appreciated.

They were T2 right from the start. As a matter of fact, they were the first T2 ships brought into the game. Back in those days they could also fit cruise missiles, and missile damage wasn't dependent on signature radius. The tactic was to launch a volley of cruise missiles and then get an opposing interceptor webified. The cruise missiles would catch up with the webbed 'ceptor and wreck it.

Those were the days :-)

Also the missile bomb lol. Moving at the speed of your missiles, start firing at extreme range and fly straight at your target.... hit him with 6-7 missiles all at once :D (you can do it now but not quite the same)

I wish I played when you could get 10 friends in kestrels each with 1 cruise missile in each launcher and just Alpha other ships.
