Was just wondering how long people play eve a day for.

3-4 hrs for me.

Once or twice a week on average for 2-6 hours.

I've never been much for MMO's or video games. Played Final Fantasy V and VII and all the Mario's up to 64 when I was young, had Halo 1 on my computer too but I pretty much just play EVE Online now.

Also I've chosen the EVE Forum as my go to forum instead of other forums. Figure that if I'm playing EVE anyway at least I have one thing in common with everyone here.

It depends...

1) Does ship spinning in the hangar counts as play-time?

2) Does game planning outside the game count as game time (hours on eve mon, fitting tool, ploting routes on printed map)?

Usually a few hours.

Also - http://eveboard.com/fullranks/56-daily-average (needs to be tweaked a bit so check DoB values).

Roughly an hour each working day, and four or five hours along the weekend. Some 10 hours per week.

Depends entirely on the day since I am at work (or on my there) for 12 hours each day so there is not all that much left in the evening (of both time and energy, that is). But at weekends sometimes as much as eight hours a day although a lot of that is done passively. For example, I might be browsing the Internet, listening to an audio book or doing something else parallel to playing EVE.

I don't get to play nearly as much as I would like due to work and family responsibility. So when I do get online I mostly just spin spaceships. P

Im the same situation it depends on the day and if its a day where i aint responsible for sh1t then ill play passively for a majority of the day(like smoke and eat n chill n listen to music etc while logged in and maybe patrolling my area or doing stuff in station)

But ya most of the time im working or riding my real life rifter around my town and tend to fly my spaceships at night

Usually no more than two days per hour as my computer can't handle more than 48 running clients with its measly 96GB of RAM.

I used too but that game is all grinding with terrible PvE. Buying your way to anything costs hundreds of dollars. Completely P2W as far as gear goes. There are no assists. So in a Fleet Fight the person with the best gear gets the kill. Arena yu are either wning someone 20 Levels below you or above you after a 20min wait.

Great game design. I loved it. If the grind was a little more fun or a little faster then I would still be playing. At least when I grind in EVE I can be semi AFK. I played last summer and a little in November I think.
