Wazzzzup! etc. So I'm resubbed from a year break ish, decide to change my hurricane fit a bit and go with the shield resist link instead of the mwd speed one. Well just as I'm about to rip out the skirmish link and buy a siege one to throw in I luckily checked the prices first. WTF lol. A year ago the mindlinks were no more than 5 mil or so, now they are 60+ on a cheap sell order.

I do a little research and apparently they only come from a single cosmos mission each or from a rare storyline mission. My suggestion is to add them as a purchase in loyalty point stores or something, ie skirmish for minmatar, armored for amarr and what not, or as a drop from faction rats or something. They need to be a lot cheaper if you're going to roam around in 0.0 with them plugged in or want to switch up the bonus you give. A terrible/lazy carebearer like myself needs cheap pvp stuffs.

I have gotten a number of mindlinks from storyline missions, and not necessarily L4. I'm pretty sure growing up ages ago I got one off of an L2 or L3 storyline, saw it was worth 12m or so and jumped for joy.

Anyway, if my observations bear any weight, I suspect their recent spike in price can be attributed to a combination of:

a) incursions flooding the market with much easier to earn isk than before
b) shrinking of the mission running community as they race to do incursions thus leaving a dearth of mission runners resulting in fewer completed storyline missions and an overall supply dip in mindlink rewards.

I've run Incursions as well and do love the isk. And not to derail this into a 'nerf' incursion thread, but CCP has to assign someone to take a more macro economic look at the EVE economy.
