I can't speak for all of "the people hating on him," but I believe I'm in that group -- I made it known that I was unsubbing my accounts due to their massive fuckups over the past few months.

After the pair of dev blogs this week I resubbed 2 of the 3, and expressed my good feelings for the immediate future.

From what I'm seeing that seems to be the general consensus -- a VERY LARGE part of the "haters" are at least somewhat optimistic about these changes. It DEFINITELY hasn't accelerated. You're kidding yourself if you think it has.

While these are just vague promises of improving space combat you're all filling in the blanks with a fantasy which is probably impossible to attain.

When it comes out what they're doing, it won't be enough for some of you, maybe even most. Like i was saying in a similar thread, CCP worked tirelessly to reduce fleet lag for years, and all they got in return was abuse for it never being enough. Not a single "thanks for reducing fleet lag" thread. Not. A. One.

I'm of the opinion now there are certain people who will just never be 100% content with space combat. And will continue heaping abuse on CCP no matter what they do.

a lot of people are now simply waiting to see if ccp acts on his words... winter we will see if ccp cares.
