most of the time i see these giant fleets of typhoons or something else but wouldnt you think that a giant fleet would be extremely diverse?

Fleet engagements could be much more exciting through the implimentation of a single module type to the equation.

something witht he AOE properties of a smartbomb or interdictor bubble but make it a race specific target jammer. imagine the panic it would cause if you were part of a huge drake feet and then a handful of cruiser sized ships land with these modules fitted that would totally jam out any caldari ship near it. naturally people would begin to field kitchen sink fleets with some armor some shield some amarr some caldari etc.

while a new ship isnt a necessity it would be more practical down teh road after we saw if this mechanic worked well for the game. imagine a specialized cruiser that is slow moving, tough as nails defenses (because it would be a garaunteed primary) and make it unable to fit cloaks so that you would see it aproaching your fleet.

Also give it a bonus that reduces the effectiveness of remote reps it recieves. The objective of this ship is not to be so tough that people cant blow it up with a logi on it but make it inspire panic in the other fleet so that they scramble to drop it. the same kind of panic that is inspired when you see a t1 frigate land with a cyno but easier to stop.

You mean like racial jams, but AOE? Why can't you just fit more Minmatar jams to your falcon to jam those giant Typhoon fleets?
