When can i pod kill

Simple request. I want a ccp page that tells exactly "no supposition or hyppebole" what the rules are for pod killing in high sec, low sec and nul - although we should all know the nul rule without having to ask.

And i'd like it written in some form of plain english as ccp seems to devote itself to mangling the language at every opportunity.

The rules are simple enough and sholdnt take more than a few lines but to have em under the ccp/evealopaedia banner is what's needed as too many contradictory bits of advice pop up in help chat and no one is able to provide hard copy on the subject it seems, including me.

Does this page exist. I have spent some time looking to no avail . I have found many many heavily verbose and complicated pages that take two paragraphs to explain what could be stated in a sentence but as yet nothing on this one simple game feature.

My need for it is as a simple bm to link to in help chat whenever someone asks the question "can i pod........?"

If this page exists i have failed to find it. Possibly a lack in my search techniques but i suspect it's not there to be found.

Any help appreciated.

No pod killing in high sec ever. Pod killing in low and null, gate guns in null will fire on you when you fire on a ship so no different if a pod.

You can pod-kill anyone you want, where ever you want. In high-sec concord will kill you for it if your target was not a war-target but that does not mean you can't. These are the intended mechanics.

The only exception may be podding rookies in a rookie system "for lulz".

You can pod in highsec if you can catch it?Cool

Oh, and exception being "don't mess with my rookies." It's simple, if there's no risk to you, don't mess with it.Lol

Sorry, apparently I never read that far into it. I've always only known that pod killing is not allowed, ever.

@Joseph Dreadloch Harsh man, harsh. I didn't know about the war targets, now i'm a moron. Sad

Rules are "don't mess with my rookies." Otherwise allowed. You just have to be a trooper and take the sec loss.

Thats, Ladies & Gents is the reason to leave your NPC corp as fast as you can cos people like Ituhata will misslead you with plain wrong informations in corp chat about EVE because they learned EVE from other "well informed" NPC corp huggers.

Bolded the wrongs.

People who can be pod-killed: Anyone in space in a pod.

People who can be pod-killed in high-sec or low-sec without penalty: War targets, corp members, anyone with -5.0 sec status or less.

Post with your monkey.

Thread locked due to lack of pants.

People that got banned in Arnon would disagree.Lol

"Don't mess with my rookies" means just that. Notice the term "rookies" as opposed to "rookie systems." It's simple, if there's no risk, don't mess with it.

You can pod in high sec when at war....I think that's the only way. You can also pod in low sec but for a huge sec penalty without it also being at war.

What are you guys on about? you can pod kill everywhere as long as you do it before our dear police men blows ya up.

My alt was podded in a .5 system 2 days ago by a random, he blew up her retriever then her pod and then concorde blew his ship up.

As for "legal" pod kills, you may only kill pods in null-sec or during a war, any other circumstance will result in a criminal cooldown and a sec status hit.

Actually, podding corp members might also be allowed.. Haven't checked recently though.
