Here are the shipping costs to ship a single EVE mug to my door in the UK

Method Rate
FedEx International Economy
$57.40
FedEx International Priority
$54.95
USPS Express Mail International
$62.65
USPS Priority Mail International
$47.60

Surely there must be companies out there that will stick your stuff in a warehouse and ship it out to local-country (or State USA) customers at a much lower cost.

I would have thought that you could work out where your most likely EVE Store customers live (USA, Russia, UK, EU) set up a distribution store in each then and have ship out a container of items to them.

I bought a bike from USA once and I think I paid a similar amount to ship it and that was a bike, a whole bike! Surely you can get a mug or a t-shirt to common destinations for less than $50!?

All this time spent trying to flog a monocle to us yet I cant even buy a poster.

M-m-m-m-make it so! Big smile

Yeah i would love to buy some things from EVE store. A few times even selected the things i want and went to checkout. Delivery prices are soooooo high that i can't allow myself to buy a poster and a mug. I want a ship model too but these are 100$ a piece which in itself way over the top for me and don't even have the ships i like so i pass on these completely. Anything can be done with these delivery prices CCP?

Don't let them fly safe!

Yes.

www.bundlebox.com

Gives you a US address that you can ship to, they hold it until you release it and its then shipped on to you.

No idea if it would prove cheaper or not though.

At the prices they charge for the actual items i would expect free delivery, the items themselves are stupidly high, i mean c'mon $29 for a zipo lighter with an eve logo on, you can buy an almost identical lighter without the logo for less than $10, then they add the extortianate shipping fees on top. It's really like they don't want to sell these things to us.

I have ordered a few TShirts a few weeks ago, and am still waiting for delivery.

I wasn't aware that shipping actually means by ship.

From my past dealings with EVE-Store, there's nothing but good memories. Got the tees and caps shipped to Eastern-Europe (via USPS) with just 2 weeks and everything were smooth and finely tuned.

So only positive feedback to EVE-Store from our side Big smile

I must agree that I have been often tempted to order stuff from the eve shop but recently was always stopped by the huge cost.

I did order some stuff in the past but I don't remember that huge a cost (perhaps I was more of a fanboy then).

Shipping from the UK or even iceland for Europe and America (from atlanta) shouldn't be that hard?

You're lucky. Shipping Eve Conquests to Russia is available only by FedEx and costs over $100.

its the broken american trade system. you can send most things to america, dirt cheap. but when you ship something out, it costs loads of money. its one of the main reasons the country is failing.

The EVE Store is located in the US.
Think about coming to Fanfest 2012! I'll ensure you get your EVE Mug. Cool

Or alternatively you could make it so Europeans don't have to pay for shipping from America by having a European counterpart. Novel Idea I know. Something to think about.

If you want to see EVE mugs just go to the next fanfest will be plenty of them floating around.

Your complaining about paying $57 for a mug which is actually a "real" item but when you consider CCP would like to charge you $60 to wear a monocle or a pair of space pants I'd be happy they aren't charging you twice as much! Evil

I think that might be a bit more expensive that getting one delivered from the US.

Op starts thread complaining about paying $50 approx to acquire an Eve Online Mug. CCP Dev suggests paying $500 to acquire said Eve Online Mug. Greed is Good?
