Monocle prices about to crash due to 500AUR left/gold monocle (tomorrow)?

INB4 people complaining that selling clothing for aurum is breaking the games immersion and killing industry.

Everyone knows that the Left/Gold monocle is for losers.
The inferior workmanship is obvious to anyone with the forethought to buy the Right/Gold monocle.

The classic "prototype" NEX items will still have it's high retail value. I don't think that it has been confirmed what items will hit the NEX store and loot drops, only the shirts for the LP shops were announced as far as I know. The post implied that the classic items will eventually go out of circulation giving the classic items a bit of value.

1 US penny =1.66 AUR at the 2500 AUR rate
1 US penny = 240601 ISK at 480m ISK for 19.95 USD
1 AUR =144,940 ISK

So the new items will retail new at 14m to 72m ISK which is competitive with current ISK prices for most items. The monocle being an exception, but I believe the classic monocle will still retain some value much like the red Executor (even though the classic Executor is available for a tenth of the cost) due to less in circulation.

I personally sold off about 1B ISK worth of apparel over the last couple of days in anticipation of minor price drops once the patch goes live. Even if the new items will be competitive in price I suspect people who are not collectors trading in their old clothes for the new stuff and the demand in general to be a bit lower for the legacy NEX items until they go out of production.

Not all the items we have are being added in the 1.1 update. That monocle, for example, is not being added.
If it was in the NeX on Sisi, someone must have been just trying something out.
