Wow, I just wanna take the time to call this for what it is a goonswarm conspiracy in the works. Everyone knows that Gunpoint Diplomacy is a well known Goon alt corp, so i'm not suprised that the goons are now using it to start a conflict with EVE-Uni.

They're trying to get even more war dec changes implemented by using war decs to circumvent gate guns...due to this thread becoming a threadnaught, I expect a change in the next couple days.

You need to check your intel.

We actually run GoonSwarm, and we're using them to use us as the "alt corp", whilest using GoonSwarm to use us as an alt corp to start a proxy war with IVY so as to disrupt the education/training/derp-prep of newbies in EVE so as to cause the eventual downfall of EVE as a whole, thus causing Goons to win all of EVE, and thus RANSM being the ultimate victors by extension.

Should work, despite disclosing our masterplan.

I'm sorry, I'm just a little confused.

I was fairly sure this was EVE Online......and I've heard repeatedly that if you want fair fights and so forth, you're playing the wrong game. I've heard that my entire time in EVE and I don't remember anyone whining that about fairness that got anything but laughed at.

So what game are you guys playing?

You are aware that the person who first cried "unfair" in this thread was an E-UNI right? My fav MH occupants seemed to just be explaining that they were trying to avoid the gate guns.

I need to make an Atlar / Bosena trip. Someone should put together a trip planner for me. Don't hesitate on the expenses! I want to see all the sights.

Interesting that you replied first, but honestly, I don't care who was first because nobody should be whining about fairness in EVE. Obviously we need to stress that more as well if someone on our side (If the OP really is) doesn't understand that. As long as game isn't broken/being exploited, then all is fair in war and politics.

Anyway, game on.

Pretty sure the OP is a troll. Should read the rest of the thread and filter out the trolling posts (not easy, good luck lol) to get a proper perspective on things.

I personally frankly care little about the fairness of fights. Though as a corp we don't have an 'official' stance on that (or on anything really Cool ) so individual members may feel differently about it and within r1fta the spectrum runs from full blown e-Bushido to people with multiple link alts. Part of why I love our corp is variety.
*I* play to win, I'm also to lazy for link and falcon alts however so I don't use 'm. If I know people do I'll either simply not fight them or try guerilla tactics.

If you have 200 dudes/dudettes willing to PvP for you in a big blob with tons of e-war by all means do, not using the means at your disposal would be silly.

That being said EVE at it's core is a social game, so no matter how I fight or who I fight and how they fight I do aim for both parties involved to have as much fun (very subjective I know) as is reasonably achievable.
Because if I alienate everybody out of fighting with me I don't get to have fun either, and that would kind off suck for me Sad.
There's a few nomadic corps in lowsec who are very adapt at this they crash a party get a week of kills and then spend the next 7 or 8 weeks being structurally blue balled by the locals and living of scraps and clueless people who accidentally wander in. It's also why they're nomadic I suspect. It is very hard to force people to fight in lowsec.

When we originally came to Moldy Heap, the first few weeks were a little awkward, RANSM would come in and shoot us in BC's and T2 cruisers and we'd all die in T1 frigates. Then dynamics happened and it evolved to a situation where we got a little more organized and they ship down a little on occasion, not trough any agreement but just by playing. It's only so long before you figure out that your Myrmidon is going to be structurally ignored or that if you want to fight a Rupture with 2 Rifters you should probably get on comms...
Bottom line RANSM & r1fta both ended up having more fun. Yes sometimes RANSM still nukes us to oblivion with shiny stuff (really Silver Chair, bro, nuking my Vengeance from orbit with an Arty Mach? Evil ) and on occasion suddenly 10 rifters mwuhahahahaha P
Neither of us plays 'fair' we do however keep the others enjoyment somewhere at the back of our mind because we need somebody to shoot at we'd both loose if we stopped shooting each other.

End of ramblings. Oh and we play EVE online, you can't do a sandbox 'wrong'. Unless your name is Gevlon of course.

dont really care about the blobbing during war, fine. but just sayin, blobbing when not at war (the reason for the wars) is kind of self defeating to your corp ideals of teaching...

You are just mad because you got exposed for what you are, pirates that only care about violencing unwilling people's boats who are willing to use any game mechanic possible to facilitate such things. You can't really expect E-Uni to act reasonably when their own management comes up with brainfarts like "PVP boats should all fit mining lasers in order to fight miners". And no, this isn't trolling, it's on their public forum side.
