The Exequror Navy Issue needs a new niche. Looking at it, it appears to be (short range) high blaster dps/fast cruiser, but once it gets hit with web/scram, that goes away and it's then just a gimped Thorax. For missions, there are cheaper, more efficient ships that get the job done for lev 2's and 3's. Why use it? Or even have it...

I spent LP to get this and play with it, so my ISK spent was low. I didn't do any pvp with it.

Since we're doing a ship rebalance, can we add this one to the list of "needs love right now". Thanks for the consideration.

Other thoughts:

- It should be able to field 5 drones (scouts)
- Give it back it's Logistics role bonues, or a variation thereof

If it's just a gimped Thorax then maybe that's just a symptom of the Thorax being overpowered. Maybe they should nerf it.

Or how about no? Swinging a nerf bat at one ship doesn't magically fix another, you just end up with two bad ships instead of one...

No. The Thorax is good as is. The navy exequror being under powered for a navy issue is the real problem.

I honestly don;t see why the Navy Issue variants aren't a beefier version of the bog-standard ones. If you take the Raven for example, the CNR makes a whole lotta sense in comparison.

Exequror Navy Issue being a half way point between Exequror and Oneiros would be nice. Moderate PG bonus to armour repairers so that it can fit a couple of large ones, perhaps?

It is meant for pvp. It could do with power grid but it's speed is key.

There are good fits out there.

All the tier 1 navy cruisers need a bit of love. In fact, the Exequror is far from the worst of them. Have you ever looked at the Fleet Scythe?

The Navy Exequror is a very fast Thorax that doesn't rely on medium drones. It is actually viable, which is an achievement for T1 cruisers. Perhaps it lacks 'oomph' but other cruisers have it much worse.

It does rely on speed but maybe too much. Once it's webbed, it's done.

All Tier 1 Faction Cruisers just need their mass to be reduces so that they are more agile and faster then their Tier 2 counterparts. This issue is existing already for long time... :-(

Know sarcasm when you see it. This is just sad.Roll

Exequror fails due to being Gallante. Make it Winmatar, and it shall win. It's about time they remove blasters and Gallante from the game already. Winmatards win. Fly Winmatar, be a Winmatard.Smile
