it doesnt matter if you support or do not support watch this video and get a feel of what the wallstreet protesters really want to accomplish, and if you have no idea what is happening feel free to get educated on the matter.

This message was promptly drowned out by calls to behead millionairs and try to pay a debt off that sadly according to my math would barely put a dent in the us debt.

Oh btw these guys are the real hostage takers, threating students, workers, young and old people, your kids so they can use the money that would have nomally go to those to line thier pockets instead, I mean when does a union have so much ownership of a company they dictate where they can and cannot work or do and dont do, arent the share holders supposivly responsible for that? The only real reason why unions (other than the few government pet ones which basically are more truer being a representative of the workforce) exist is because people dont know how to be worth anything valuable and to prove thier point chinese are able to do thier job better faster and cheaper, a union mans labor isnt worth it or there is little to no worth in it to begin with, time to change carrers or become invaluable.

BTW if the government really wasnt on your side, Bullets and mercenaries willing to shoot you ARE MUCH CHEAPER.

Also glenn beck predicted this a year ago, hes just a season off it was supposed to been the american fall, not winter but who is counting at this point other than the 2012 doomsayers.

And also, this is message was a transitioned message from 1773 to king george III with the orignal boston tea party so nothing new or original about, just something the conservatives been yelling at the librals for the last few generations ever since Regan left the new democrat party and thier radicilzation then.

If this is true, then we really are in BIG trouble. The top 1% of Americans owned %34 of the "Net worth" in America, while the bottom 80% owned just 19% in 2007. The top 1% of AMericans owned 43% of the "financial wealth" in America, while the bottom 80% owned just 7%.

In case you want to look at income instead of assets: In 2006, the top 1% owned 21% of the annual income, while the bottom 80% owned just 38.6%.

If the millionares can't afford to pay off the US debt, then there is not a snowballs chance in hell that you can pay it off by taking it from everybody else.

The fact of the matter is that there is something seriously fundamentally wrong with the USA's economic system. Corporations and the wealthy control virtually everything in this country, from the laws, to the wealth, to the jobs, to the land, to the resources. The rich and wealthy complain about progressive taxes as being "wealth

Ad hominem fallacy. Whether or not some union did these horrible things you accuse them of is completely irrelevant to the argument at hand.

The argument is that corporations are driven by greed to such a point that their either violate the law and get away with it, or subvert the law - all to the detriment of the majority of natural citizens.

I've already seen the "demands" that they're making, they're unrealistic for the most part. I can understand being disgusted by some of these things, but there is no way you can guarantee jobs and economic stability to everyone. Instead of protesting, they could, I dunno, be out looking for jobs instead of whining about not being able to pay off loans or pay for other stuff.

Here in the US, we make our own way in life, with few exceptions.

Dude. That was really hard to understand. I'm actually not trolling for once, I have no idea what point you are trying to make. Could you clarify a little?

Wait, are these those people that are protesting that the people that earn money need to give it to the people that don't earn it due to some weird sense of entitlement?

Well, to be honest, the rich people could easily quell these protests by giving them jobs, but we can't do that now, can we?

No because then the protesters win, the protests can just as easily be quelled by hiring foreigners and laughing.

I'm so happy I have rich parents that are setting me up with my own company. Hooray for 6 figure starting salaries Lol

You assume they want to work, or are employable. Frankly a lot of them don't, and aren't.

Even though you're trolling, you've unintentionally made a good point.

It takes roughly 30 minutes to mow our lawn. We pay a (no doubt) illegal Mexican $35 to do it. He does many houses in the area the same day, so many that he's had to expand his business and hire other (no doubt) illegal Mexicans to handle the work load.

Where are all the whiney white douchebags lining up to mow our lawn for $35? I sure as hell don't see them.

I thought they needed a job.

Oh, wait, they want job where they don't have to work? Maybe that's the ******* problem.

35 bucks to mow a lawn in 30 minutes?

I'd take that job.

I'm really starting to appreciate the internet. There's already an extensive wikipedia article on a protest currently in progress.

Interestingly, the protests are starting to draw positive comments from both sides of the right/left divide. Two Republican presidential candidates have expressed support for the core demands. The President also made a statement indicating the protests expresses the frustration "the American people feel." You've also got well-read columnists such as Paul Krugman now weighing in on the side of the protests.

In any case, I'm betting this thread will be locked soon due to political subject matter.

Jobs doing what? These people don't want to mow lawns, or scrub bathrooms, or anything like that (even when they're down on their luck.)

I want to know how these people are going to enforce economic equality and make sure EVERYONE prospers. I want to know what ideas they could have that are even remotely feasible.
