Playing EVE for about 4 hours doing some ratting with 4 of my buddies when I started to notice serious performance issues. I checked resource monitor and sure enough EVE was using 2.5 gigs of my system memory. I didn't have resource cache enabled so I know that's not the issue, but it seems other people have had the same problem, just posting to let you know its still an issue.

Same problem.. it usually happens to me after 5-7 hours of playing. The game keeps consuming memory even if i sit in station. At 1.8GB Memory the graphics go crazy like shown in the other threads.

This is how my memory looks while being active in space and doing a lot of jumps.

This is not a problem with my pc or my graphics card. Everything works fine for the first few hours.

I'm seeing a sizable memory leak with EVE also. At the login screen the game is under 500 MB, once logged in it's at about 900 MB, then after 3 hours or so of play it's grown to nearly 2 GB and the graphics start going all wonky. Definitely some major bugs in the client. Also, Alt-tabbing seems to accelerate the leak, increasing the amount of RAM being used by chunks after each Alt-tab.

Since the patch(es) this week some of the graphical issues have been solved (bright warp gates) and the others are less frequent (flashing space stations) and the memory leak is slower, but not gone. So it seems like progress, but not completion.

When is this going to be fixed? Having to relog several times a session isn't a fix or an acceptable work around. Had the wonkey graphics show up in the middle of a mission last night and feared a crash was inevitable. That was on a single client. Tonight, running four, was a huge PITA. Performance just deteriorated from the start. Nothing I tried made any difference, relogging, clearing cache, rebooting my PC and resetting router/modem. Nothing.
