Legion for lvl 4?

Hey

How can I use my legion for lvl 4 misions?
Is there any way how to fit non faction legion for lvl 4s?
Should I use 2 MAR or jsut one?
Can I tank without speedtank very good?
How much DPS is possible to deal with good tank?
And pulses or beams? (what ammo?)

Yes you can, but it's a waste of time. I once lost a Legion to npcs because I'm an idiot.

Well I am not an Idiot (I hope)
My only BIG problem is frigates (and their webs) on lvl 4s...otherwise I can tank with speedtank.

And I hope it is not waste of time...And even if it would be I dont care I always wanted to fly with legion...just now whn i can I dont know how to fly it effectievly .-)

No. You will want to use at least faction afterburner. For armor repairer there's no way around it other than going for deadspace repairers. Small and medium sized armor repairers aren't very good when compared to their shield counterparts.

You can, some of the damage, but as with all T3 cruisers speed is part of your tank. If you get webbed and scrambled you have to get rid of those frigates as fast as possible otherwise prepare to lose your ship (and SP). Only T3 that can tank full room aggro without moving is Loki with x-large booster.

well I have friend with proteus who can tank massive dmg without moving,also doing massive dmg (about 1000 DPS!!)

Frigates aren't your problem with the Legion, tracking disrupter are. With only 3 of them on you you won't be able to hit a battleship, let alone a frigate.

If you want to do level 4's for Amarr, get a Paladin. I have no clue why you'd want to spend 3 hours chipping away at a level 4 with a Legion.

stil I would need t2 pulse lasers...but whatever I have legion already jsut have a little problems with flying lvl 4 s cause of that damned webbers

So, you've got multiple problems here then. I mean you don't have the skills to fly the right ships, so perhaps doing level 4's isn't going to be all that profitable for you.

The legion as you noted has a horrible time with frigates.

You could fly it as a semi-bad missile boat:

For example. But its horrible for missions. If you are intent on flying a legion in level 4s make sure you have enough tank to learn the missions and plenty of time.

this is my legion fit, I only ever use it for 1 mission now. I bought it so I could run missions in lowsec to get my sec status up back when it was easy to get your sensor strength high enough that other people couldn't scan you down. kill a rat every 12 mins, god its boring. looks like you can swap the cap regen matrix for a power core multiplier and get an extra turret dunno why I didn't. speed/sig tanking is stupidly good for missions.

Medium pulses have no problems at all tracking frig rats. Keep 3 tracking scripts in cargo, swap from range script as needed.

Use 3x TCs, not webs or tps. These are failfits that will produce a lol lm by rats.

well any t3 ship should be able to do lvl 3. I jsut cant fit large pulses t2 so not a big deal with abadon.still I think that legion will be betetr top fly...one day

I would be glad to use 3 TCs but problem is that I would like to have cap stable at least with AB and one rep running dont know id with faction it will be better but I have to have 2 cap rechargers to make AB and MAR (t2 non faction) stable cap .

Galente rats are Serpentice (I think) so your thermal damage will work there.

Matari rats are angels, the primary dps for angels is explosive, the secondary dps is kinetic. You do squat of explosive and kinetic dps.

Because angels will laugh(and you cry) in the face of your pathetic em/therm dmg. Train for something that can fire multiple damage types(like missiles and projectiles) if you want to do missions seriously and against factions with different tank profile. Otherwise i would do my missions in amarr space where all you enemies are weak against em/therm.

ps. you can do angel missions in amarr ships but i gets boring real fast.
