Since tech 2 ships and modules require so many different components that aren't the resource that can be diretly gathered it can be difficult to see what you will need to build one from the ground up. Adding a command that shows the blueprints for an item in the info window would simplify it considerably.

For exceptionally complicated things there could also be a show all blueprints command. This would show all necessary resources for every blueprint and each blueprint under it down to the most basic raw material available. It would be available in a condensed and expanded view the difference being that in expanded that the materials for each sub blueprint would be seperated while in condensed it would add them all together.

Also listed would be the matrials needed for invention and/or reverse engineering if applicable and the likelyhood of sucess on each one.

In this view you would be able to adjust the material level of the sub blueprints so that you see more precisely what you need to build it given your intended reasearch level. If you possess the necessary blueprints it would innitially be set to those values.

There would also be a gather all command which would set waypoints to your assets or corperate or acceptable market prices. The autopilot would then dock at each station pick up the material and return to your home. You would set which level of blueprints the gathering would go as in if it is only the components for the primary blueprint or if it collected the components of components too.

This would be very time-saving, the "show all blueprints" command. If they used the same sort of display as they do for certs (modified, of course, to show needed materials, etc.) that'd be pretty handy.

Each bpo/bpc also has a "Bill of Materials" part to it - it'd be awesome to be able to check that and have it converted into a note or "shopping list", like you mentioned, and as each thing is acquired it gets marked off the list. You can even have it set to keep tabs on the amount of materials you have in a particular station/POS. Another feature would be that it would allow you to enter remote buy/sell orders (if you have the skills) to get the best deals possible in the region on specific items.

Not too hot on the autopilot function, though. I prefer to be the one to click the "Buy" button myself, not have it automated.
