the long lost cousin to the logistics ship

I propose a new type of ship, a cousin to the current logistics ship.

A mobile refitting platform. Basically a cruiser class ship, with a heavily expanded cargo hold, that could carry modules, ammo, drones, and be used as a mobile refitting platform same as a carrier.

It would start off with about a 4000m3 cargo hold and expand maybe 20% per level.
Also get a range bonus for refitting per level, maybe up to 10-15 km max.
Perhaps special ability,
when on grid reloading time cut in half once per level, and eventually get 2-3 second reloads

Now, let the trollin begin

Yes, I complain about things I don't like.

Pretty sure you just made industrials obsolete.

They can't. They also can't tank as much as this thing, and a lot won't be able to haul as much either, hence you just made them obsolete.

Any ship with a 4000m3 cargohold would have to be an industrial. But I don't see why a tech-2 industrial with a reduced cargohold shouldn't be abllowed to have a fitting service on-board. It could make for a new category of tech-2 industrials other than transports.
