I'm using latest HD 6990 with 3 LCD monitor 23.6 inch acer (3d monitors) and I'm using each screen for seperate eve clients. So basiaclly i play 3 characters at the same time.

The problem is eve doesn't support multi gpu support? Thats just horrible, eve has been out for almost 9 years right??? Come on.

I'm having 50 % capacity for my HD 6990. I dont wanna go back using one singel gpu card ex: gtx 580. Because with that card it works perfectly fine.

CCP COME ON give us multi gpu support for singel card !!

My dual nVidia GTX 560 ti, supporting 3 screens at 1920x1080, with 3 clients at full detail, with full utilization, no problem.

This sounds like a problem with your drivers or the way your card handles multiple monitor or multiple applications.

So you bought new ATI graphics card which Eve doesn't fully support and now you want CCP to fix your investment error?

Get classic forum style - custom videos to captains quarters screen

id like to have proper multiscreen support for the client.
one screen with all the crap windows like chat and fittings and so on and the other with the full clear flight view and just the overview and modules on it.

multi-gpu only works in full screen mode. having 3 clients open in 3 different screens is actually having them in windowed mode. 3 different screens is viewed as one large monitor. try one client in full screen mode, surround.

It doesn't mather, multi gpu will support in "multi monitor mode" , having 1 eve one client for each monitor screen...

the fact that the rendering program needs to be modified to support multiple monitors is a fairly serious fail on the part of both nvidia and AMD.

DRIVERS EXIST FOR A REASON FUCKWITS!

"nonsupporting" games can also be used in AFR mode typically.. often times in the higher modes. just go to the damn cards control panel and force it on

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

If I'm not mistaken, this issue is less visible with DX11, that supposedly, is pretty much DX10 optimized for multi GPU rendering.

I've learned now about multi gpu.

Singel multi gpu card can't support with full streangh in windows mode, it uses only 1 out of 2 gpu. This is for all windows mode games. :(

Buhuu, I should have bought 2 GTX 570 instead :( same price, more streanght.

Now apologize to the nice Eve developers for blaming them for someone elses failures.

Hey look a pubbie who always buys the advertised top-notch products and then wonders that they're not as good as the producers say.

AMD sucks...always has, always will. You may THINK AMD has better more powerful cards but that means jack **** when drivers don't work at all.

What I want to see supported is multi-processor cores. Someday...

I will agree with you on GPUs, but regarding CPUs, AMD has a solid product, especially for the price.

Well technically it isn't AMD making the cards but ATI. I say AMD because they merged and now it pretty much is AMD since the chipsets are all manufactured by them now. Either way the drivers for ATI/AMD suck. Ive never had a problem with AMD processors but I switched to Intel for the hell of it one year and have never looked back.
