Out of Pod Experience

Hey Eve Community,

Mike here from Guild Launch. Just wanted to drop by and let everyone know that we are releasing some new Eve Online features using the API for rostering as well as a killboard for our Corp sites.

In addition to that, we are running a few contests that I wanted everyone to be aware of. The prizes for the contests range from being paid to be a freelance writer for a year, Guild Launch and Ventrilo service, a high end gaming system and a trip to Fanfest. Eve Online Correspondent Contest - We are looking for Eve Online players who are interested in getting paid to write about Eve Online for a year. We will send you to Atlanta, GA where you will receive a personal tour of the CCP Games Studio and meet the Content team. You will also receive an exclusive preview of upcoming Eve Online changes; all on our tab.

Eve Online Top Site Contest - We are looking for the top Eve Online Corp or fansite. If you already host with Guild Launch simply add the Eve Top Site Contest widget to your site. If you don't host with Guild Launch no worries. Just go to the contest page and you can add your site to the running, we will even give you a widget you can add to your site so users can vote for you.

Every time someone votes they are entered into a drawing where one lucky winner will win a high end gaming system, so make sure to vote daily. We will be giving out multiple years of Guild Launch service as well as Ventrilo service to the top voted sites at the end of October and November. At the end of the contest, we will look at the top voted Eve sites and with CCPs help will pick the top site. The leader of that site will be sent to Fanfest 2012 to take part in the most awesome Eve community event in the world.

Tournament - We will be running a tournament and will have details posted soon. We are still working out a couple of things and once we are ready to announce it, I will update this thread.
