Has it come down to this? EVE now unfair as bittervets getting emotionally injured over a few arrogant newbs?

In the last few weeks I have seen the UNI compared to 1920s socialist parties, facism, even terrorism.

Add to the mix a few blog owners who seem obsessed with the newb training corp, and we might just have the Mayan apocalypse originating out of a spirit of sharing and helpfulness?!

What's the deal, why the hate?

The biggest problem (not really a problem) with Eve University is the fact that despite having some really old and skilled pilots they do corny as hell crap. They fail to teach noobs the most important lesson of Eve and that is to have a sense of humor and to have a forum troll alt. Eve Uni is so corny they make CVA look like OG gangstas.

Dissapointed about the lack of focus to bacon as promised in the title.

BTW: E-UNI is good at putting up with BS thrown at them from time to time, it isnt a unique trend, nor I guess is it epidemic either. ;)

People been hating on the Uni that I know of for four years +. Blaming the Uni for "blob" warfare, when the blob comes about as a direct result of increased population and "N + 1 > N".

Back when Eve was new, it wasn't unusual to get 1 v 1's because there were so few people.

Now... Not so much...

So yeah, people been hatin', and the Uni still here.

THIS, also, the UNI isn't the only method of training in EvE, there's plenty of corporations/alliances that are willing to train new players, granted not all has the resources that the UNI provides but I never went to the UNI and I turned out just fine... actually scratch that... Lol
