Has a CCP nerf destroyed an entire expansion like the Incursion nerf is about to?

lol nice semantics Roll

so if Concord was broken such that suicide ganking no longer became suicide ganking because Concord did nothing to the gankers, and a fix were put in place to make it so Concord started responding again, you would consider this a nerf to suicide ganking?

From the DEV blog I see CCP Affinity is going to kill the Expansion with small 1.5 month steps which don't address the real issues. Too bad Ugh

The "real issues" are that people abandoned incursions as soon as the isk faucet was stemmed. The only way to bring them back is to restore the risk-free income levels previously attained. CCP clearly thinks that would be a bad thing.

No you are wrong. The things were destroyed period. I thought they should be nerfed a bit myself but what CCP did was destroy the entire expansion in one single blow. It is ********, bad business, bad program management, lack of vision, more like tunnel vision and asskissing of the stupid epeennull sec. They knee jerked screwed it completely up now they will try to increment their customers back to playing because there is a huge drop in players.

And what I really think is fresh is that after the kneejerk testicle blow they are not accepting the feedback in the DEV forums that the OTA's are the reason that Vanguard participation was floored and they want to wait ( I presuming another 2 months ) while those communities that have been treading water for the past 2 months completely drown.

The "real issue" is that many Incursion runners were from the mindset of classic MMO raiding guilds: when the encounters get modified from the scripts we used to know, just sit out until the hardcore folks have sorted out the new details of spawns, strategies, fittings, etc.

In a couple of months the number of Incursion runners will be more or less back to normal (esp. given the rollback to influence gain and VG income nerf).
