PLEX for Good drive - for those of us retiring from EVE.

Regardless of EVEs current status or future direction, some of us are likely finished playing, in "retirement" as it were. Many of us retirees carry significant sums of ISK, PLEX and other assets when combined as a whole. These virtual assets sit dormant on accounts set to expire and this seems like a terrible waste imo.

PLEX for Good is one of the pinnacle moments of EVE imo. It gave individuals who were prosperous in game a chance to convert unused ISK into a sizeable equivalency of RL money, a donation which would often surpass what that individual could provide out of their own finances (myself included).

For those of us that have moved on from actively playing the game, (and anyone else interested in helping,) could another drive be launched? Despite the fact there is no immediate disaster making the headlines, many worthy causes could be supported, i.e. Red Cross/Red Crescent, African famine relief, etc.

This would give us a chance to put our ISK into better use than wasting it on noobs (alts), Blink, Officer-fit loot pinatas, etc. It would be a great tie-in to some of the conciliatory tone recent Devblogs have touted and give closure for CCP and the dissaffected players who would like to leave somewhat more amicably.

So sink them into the market so the rest of us can get cheaper gametime

Giving the PLEX's to CCP for charity only allows them to play TAX DEDUCTION games.

If you really cared about helping a charity, you would get off your backside and do something.

Quit trying to buy your ticket to a nights sleep.

Nah, just send all your stuff to me and I'll make good use of it. That'd be a PLEX for Good drive, too. Bear

Give us all one-third of your assets, and you will do something Good with your PLEX / ISK / Assets

* I see your point and do agree with you, but those wasted assets etc can be easily prevented by setting up really cheap sell orders in 4-4 for your stuff.

EDIT: I would even be willing to give you 1 trit for all your assets as you are leaving EVE PPPP

+1 I like this idea. They could also give to Child's Play, or one of those charities that provides computers for poor kids.
