If it hasn't by then, I'm assuming the Mittani can arrange that once he gets there.

you can have a pick from the hotels we propose or choose one of your own. the venue is just 15 minutes walk from down town loutraki so no need for taxi.

You'll enjoy the heat when you have to push around one Dollars worth of Greek drachma in a wheelbarrow when they drop out the Euro...Lol

Even in the most unlikely event Greece does fall out of the Euro. What will happen? Greece had tourism before the Euro and even in the unlikely case it will happen, it will mean that all of the sudden we will be sitting on the beach bar with a curency that is 2-3 times stronger then the local one. Even i can understund that this is definetly a good thing for the tourists here.Blink

TBH, right now i would be more concearned for the rise of ORE prices in EVE. P

PS
Greece is falling out of the euro next week for the past 2 years. Big smileBig smile

I'm glad that Greece isn't considered nullsec. Because then, if I was going, someone would tackle me, press a blaster to my head and ransom my dental implants.

Another Caldari/Greek Pilot reporting.
Greece is awesome during September. Way better than the hot melting August.
I live in Crete and i can assure you that i have lived times where December had 25 degree Celsius.
Just come, relax, get some Ouzo and let yourself go.

I probably can't get the time off work in mid-September (will ask in work tomorrow) but this sounds pretty awesome fun (and the Greek economy could use those tourist euros).

You guys are brutal! Only one place in the world I really want to go, and you have to pick it. Sad

..actually, it'd be great, but I'm running up the cost of one-way and round trip flights and just that's over $1550 CAD for me. If I bump it to +/- 1-2 days it goes up. Roll ..like flexibility on my part is an issue with an airline right. Lol

Wish I could attend, but I'd be paying for it for the next 2-3 years I'm sure, even if it would almost be worth it, it's a little impractical for me right now. Don't know why Greece is so expensive to get to, but that might explain their financial problems; only the richest tourists may visit, and rich people are notorious for not spending money if they don't have too.

..wouldn't be rich otherwise, right?

Anyway, I know I could probably book a flight to Berlin or something and take a train across Europe for less while making it a 2-3 week trip, and still have it come out cheaper than the flight, but I've got other priorities right now that sort of preclude this, unless I happen to win a lottery. I never, (almost never), buy tickets; waste of money.

Maybe I should look at going to EVE Vegas; I want to drive a 200 Mph car and they got a track there with rentals. Smile

Casino's in both places.. odd. Ugh

I'm sure everyone will have a great time. I would rather sit on a beach with a little house nearby somewhere around there for 3 months or so and play EVE on a laptop than visit a resort, but that's me. I understand of course, the resorts have the amenities for this sort of thing.

Can't imagine you guys all piling into my beach house. Lol

It's pretty cool and I'll try to be there.

People organizing this, have surely done their homework.

Time of year is ideal, place is very beautiful and the idea of a combined EVE-Dust event perfect.

Great job everyone Big smile

OMG that sounds liek way to much fro airfare. Look again. you mentioned Berin and trains. From most european cities the airticket is under 200 euros. Only from switzerland is a bit more.
