Well that would explain the almost instant sales of them...

They are overpowered compared to other t3s and are good for missioners. I don't see them in pvp much but they do good against most cookie cutter ppl who like to bloom their sig with MWD.

Oh and what guy above me said bots.

I thought the prevailing theory on the EVE forum (GD) was that bots are having a hard time with the new UI?

Has something changed?

Fair point, to be honest I just assumed people had all jumped over to the incursions bandwagon

Most incursion runners use high dips shiny bships with armor fleets from what I've seen.

Also do a locate on a tengu char after sold I'd say 9/10 it'll be in some lonely 0.0 system or in some military 5 alliance system.

Nope, that's why bot users are dumping them.

I mean what's the deal with Teungus? It's like someone's toddler was unsuccessfully trying to say "Penguin" and they just ran with it as the ship's name. And I mean why do they call their weapons missiles when they always hit? Shouldn't they be called "Hittles"?

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

The other day I was trying my hand at mining in some backwoods system, and I had the dscan out. I spammed it sporadically to keep tabs on the locals, when suddenly, I picked up 12 tengu's on scan. They all had similar numeral ship names with slight variances.

I wished I had probes trained and fitted, that would have been worth checking out.

On a slightly related note I noticed 90% of my sell orders (a full transaction page worth) were bought by one character within 2 seconds. A truly impressive feat of human agility and speed.

You make a valid point, good Sir or Madam.

This. if you look at the security video from the last fanfest, tengus are the most used combat ships for botting in 0.0.

Tengu

Posting on this character because apparently some people get upset when they're asked difficult questions. M.

Because training a dedicated toon for boting in Tengus is the same problem than mining in hulks, it's always a matter of isk per hour and Tengu at this game is as good as an untaked yeld fitted hulk for mining.
But you can also find some doing it in Nyx's or Thanys, the problem is not the ship, the problem seems to be easy boting in Eve

Tengu is fine, just go for it but don't expect it to perform 100% until you get all related 5's, it does well with all 4's thou but has nothing to do with the all 5 skilled pilot.

Actually pre-Eascalaion Incursion nerf the T3 Legions were king in Incursions & you rarely saw Tengu ( from what I heard it was the only thing Legionswere good at: blitzing thru NCO's frigates )

No. They never really had much problems with it. Bots don't mind lots of clicks the way humans do. The only thing that changed was that trolls had something new to troll with.
