Hi,

I'm currently on the 14 day trial, and is considering purchasing EVE.
However searching thru the internet I found this link:

What interests me is the Eve Online: Commissioned Officer Edition.
and I'm wondering if this could activate a trial account and is the Cerebral Accelerator still vaild.

you will pay 2 extra dollar and only receive a implant that only work for 30 days

With the Commisioned Officer Edition you also get a Cerebral Accelerator, which is an implant designed to boost you during your first month with:

  • +3 to all attributes
  • +20% Damage to all turrets
  • +20% Rate of Fire to all missile launchers


Keep in mind it only works during your first 35 days from the point of character creation. If you are on your last day of trial, you might not find it beneficial to purchase the special edition.

The special item is fully compatible with existing accounts. If you for whatever reason, do not recieve it, please Create a petition.

Note that you can also buy/sell that Cerebral Accelerator ingame with contracts. So if you can get that Commisioned Officer edition cheaply enough, it could be worth it even if you cant use the item yourself. Just sell it to get some ISK.

I don't know current prices, but I think it was around 170 million ISK last I checked.

Also your link says this package can be used to upgrade trial account.
