The nighmare pilot was killed by other players. Player vs player seems the correct term to use given that it was a player vs player event.

There is no excuse to fit 4'th/5'th dmg mod over dual tracking enhancers, especially when you look at how awesomesauce tobias TE's are.

I was thinking using some of the worthless mids for TCs instead, but I'll grant that a TE certainly has as much merit as the fifth Heat sink. I will not grant that over the 4th. Mares have 4 Damage mods.

Every game has alts. But each sub brings in the same revenue as every other sub, alt or not. 400k subs is still the 5th* Largest Subscription base of Western MMOs (inc ftp Runescape and Second Life which, as ftp, are really in a different category when talking sub numbers).

How the hell is having the 5th largest subscriber base among western MMOs and 3rd among Paid Western MMOs staying "small?"

I cant think of another mmo where people would have multiple " alt accounts " not talking about alt characters.


I had three WoW accounts when I played. Five for a period of about 2 months. I was a multiboxing king.

Oh yeah, I had two in EQ2, also. And like 4 in Ultima Online. Most the other MMOs I played weren't worth playing long enough to need multiple.

I was not alone in having all of these accounts in these games. Not even close. And I am absolutely, positively not the most extreme example, either. Again, not even close.

I have one account in Eve, and it is suiting me nicely.

Obvious is obvious that this setup was done for the sole purpose of killing it and putting it on the kill board so some hormonal teenager could say "look at me, I am cool".

What the arguement about here? The op never did say this was "pvp", he said it was a suicide gank, not technically pvp in my mind - particularly when you concider that five against one is not really a "good fight" (no matter how he was fit.)

Nah. There's nothing particularly “true” about that — it's just a way to restrict the amount of skills the participants need to show off (adaptation being culled from the test).

I love the idea of nowehere is safe in eve.... apart from the stations. Making high sec truely pvp free would see the number of mining and mission bots increase vastly, the market would crash which would make me sad :( and idiots who fly ships fitted in such a way would get to play eve :D

PvP in EVE needs to be more like Lineage II. CONCORD should only spawn near the gates or stations in highsec and you're free to PK everywhere else.
