Did it drop? Sell it and find out.

If it didn't drop it's worth less than a happy meal.

Out of the entire 16+ bil kill, we got 100 mil in drops. All of the valuable stuff was in a single GSC which popped.

He claimed that he was hauling for corp... I think it more likely that he was stealing from corp.

Also, he had scouted, and there were three toons flying back and forth through the WH. Took us a while to set things up where we weren't on Dscan but could still get the kill within the time window we had.

*edit: doesn't mean he wasn't stupid, but at least he *thought* he was being careful.

That means you were helping the corp out. Ask them for a reward man.

There's no rules blocking the killboards' links.

So is it official, were those Hulk and Wolf BPOs or just BPCs? If they were BPOs, I salute you sir for your service to New Eden. You have done all Eve players a favor by removing some T2 BPOs from the game, thank you.

Judging by the contents of that hauler, chances are very close to absolute that it was BPCs .. you caught an inventor so probably not originals.

I haven't asked CCP yet, and the victim was very unclear. I'm not sure if he was saying they were BPOs or not, though I think he was. Even if he is, though, he could be lying.

Most of them do, actually. The problem is that the BPC/BPOs were in a Giant Secure Container, which as far as I know masks whether they are truly bpo's or not on killmails.

I refuse to believe that was an actual Wolf BPO.

Not only would somebody have to be stupid enough to prance around with it in W-space (unlikely), it would also mean it's not in a high-sec station enlessly churning out more baby Wolves (also unlikely) AND it would have to be someone either already playing since the T2 lottery or someone able to fork over enough ISK to buy one (both very unlikely this stupid).

This doesn't mean it's impossible, but we'll see the universe entropic heat-death happen first.

If they are just BPCs it is kind of werid that there is only 1 of each. As an inventor I can tell you I have tons of extra T2 BPCs. If they were all BPCs I'd expect to see more than 1, at least for a few of them. If they guy was robbing his WH corp, it is possible he had all that crap on him. Who flys around with 1bil+ T1 BPOs? The same type of idiot that would fly around with T2 BPOs if he had them.

Although you are probably right I am still staying optomistic that they were all T2 BPOs and are now all removed from the game. How did the guy react after such a loss?

Nice kill.

If you was a guy robbing his corp, would he really have access to these high value bpo's? And if he did, a corp with 300b plus asset, kinda got a lot of crap in there hangers :-)

I think you will find that it was just an inventor moving some stuff that got caught out. Had a couple of bpc's that you popped. It would be madness for anyone to run around with those assets in their cargo hold through wh space, and not be producing from them.
