Because an open-world sandbox should have an explicit end-game, not least of all one defined by you, and to the 10th Ring of Hell with the play-style of any/all other paying customers.

[/sarcasm]

Get the **** out of our world. You clearly don't belong here, nor are you wanted amongst those of us who actually understand the core concept that inform--that must inform, and that must remain inviolable--a sandbox/open-universe MMOG.

No, I don't even want your stuffs, it's probably all crap anyway, given the massive fail evinced in your OP.

Just go:

Find another game to try and ruin, carebear, your ilk has already done quite enough damage to this one.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr...Nullbears.

Star Wars: the Old Republic may not be EVE. But I'll take the sound of dual blaster-pistols over "NURVV CLAOKING NAOW!!!11oneone!!" any day of the week.

Have none of these people ever thought that they could just drop corp. Then from their respective NPC corps be free from wardecks. They can create channels to talk in (Im sure they will still use their own forums and comms etc..)

The price they would pay for this is obviously the NPC tax, but everything they are currently doing they could still do?

How does that work for posses? Hummm

Either way eve isnt like other games. It bites you in the ass sometimes.
A beast not easily tameable.

The good old days of Unreal Tournament, fragging and sniping on Facing Worlds, listening to Foregone Destruction.......

All,

Both sides of this argument should know what 2 faced people your dealing with:

All,

Just so everyone gets a good clear understanding on what to expect from CCP I wanted to copy you all on this:

Once you're ready to leave you just need to send in a petition asking for your account to be suspended and the remaining game time to be noted. When you're ready to return, please send in another petition asking for the noted game time to be applied back to your account so you can resume playing.

With best regards,

Hi there,

I'm afraid it's not possible to suspend your account the way you describe, it's only possible to cancel the subscription so the account won't be renewed. It will then go from active to disabled when the already paid days are over.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best Regards,
GM Sparkle

Just so you all understand that what they say and what they do may not be the same thing.

Take the green pills, it makes the voices stop talking.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Really??? Are you that lame that you cant see that 1 GM is saying they will keep my balance on days remaining on account and the other is saying that irreguardless is you cancel or not you accound cancels on its experation date.

So here is a case of the GM's not understanding policy.

I've been in this game a little while and for the most part the changes in EvE have been positive although a bit disjointed and incomplete at times. The real fighting in EvE happens in NULL not in Empire. Empire has always been the place where new toons can go to grow up to a point where they can goto NULL and get into the big game. I know this post will fall on deaf ears as usual. That all said, this players had enough I'll be storing all my gear and quiting the game.

Quitting? Why? Shouldn't you be "heading up to NULL and getting into the big game"?

Posting on this character because apparently some people get upset when they're asked difficult questions. M.
