Hi all,

I've been watching the forums and the recruitment channel and the majority of recruitment ads read must have 5mill-10mill or even more in sp.

Is it absolutely necessary? Do I need to roam around for a few more months before I can learn to fly low-null sec systems with a good pvp corporation?

I've never fought pvp, I've been drawn to the explorers role. Am getting quite proficient at scanning systems. But I would like to move forward in my career in eve.

If you have a corporation in low-null sec and think you could guide me on the right path then please convo me in game.

Hey dude. The large Corporations ask for 10m SP for a few reasons:

1. To effectively live in null-sec, you do need a fair amount of SP (PvE and PvP).

2. They're less likely to be spies

3. Alliances fly specific ships for their fleets. 10m SP pilots are more likely, or closer to flying these ships.

Without operations like mine it would be impossible for certain Alliances to conduct a respectable war. There are three basic types of arms deal: white, being legal, black, being illegal, and my personal favorite, gray.

Thank you for responding,

I have no problem providing api checks, security is a must.
I am UK based,
I DO NOT have 5 mill sp, which is my reason for making the post, rather 1.3mill sp
I would like to be part of a corporation that enjoys team based operations with space for solo advancement.
TS3 is not an issue
I don't mind joining in PVP operations but as per my original post I have no clue as to where to begin and do need guidance on this area of eve.

Thank you for your response, and additionally thank you for clearing that up for me.

I still love the idea of espionage and that it does actually take place. I can't provide you proof that I am not so I appreciate that higher sp would mean more time spent flying the same character.

+1 for the welcome response and for not trolling me :P
